Meet Stevie! This special little guy is looking for a home that is willing to help him be healthy and happy. Stevie is a lover, but a bit shy with new people. He warms up quickly and is very sweet once he feels at home. This sweetheart needs a home where he will be safe and will be loved and cherished. Once he feels comfortable, Stevie is loving and enjoys a good lap snuggle and back rub. Stevie was a bit nervous of the other cats in his foster home at first, but is getting along with them once he knew they were not going to hurt him. Stevie is unsure of dogs, but would probably adjust to a calm dog in the home.

Stevie came to us with entropion in both eyes. His eyelids were rolled under, and his lashes were rubbing on his eyeballs. We got poor Stevie right in and our vet successfully repaired the eyelids. Stevie does have recurring conjunctivitis that is caused by a latent herpes virus in his system. He needs lubricating eye drops daily and may need anti-viral drops occasionally if it flares up. This problem can be better controlled in a calm, stable environment. Stevie needs to find a calm, quiet home that will give him the love and care he deserves. He is such a darling guy that will be a great friend for the right person.
