​Bell

Beautiful Bell is a sassy and independent girl. She is a bit nervous in new situations but loves people when she gets to know them.  She loves cat trees and warm sunshine through the windows. Bell loves to snuggle on your lap and when she is happy, she has a great purr.

She can be a bit bossy but does ok with other cats if they are respectful. Bell has been around dogs that are calm and respectful of kitties.. She would do best in a home with older or no children. This little sweetie will entertain and love her new person.

Bell ended up having stomatitis, which is a painful inflammation in the mouth around the gums. We tried treatments but they were not effective for her. We finally decided with our vet to have a total mouth extraction. That helped a lot but Bell is still going to need a steroid pill every other day to keep the inflammation away. Thankfully she just eats it in her wet food!

Bell came to us with her 4 kittens as strays from an unsafe area. Bell took a little time to understand that people were not going to hurt her. Now she just wants cuddles and back rubs!
