Firefly came to us from the shelter in pretty bad shape. She was 3 weeks old and weighed a tiny 8 ozs. She had a bad upper respiratory infection and her eyes were swollen shut. After several days on antibiotics and eye onitment, she is feeling better. The swelling in her eyes went down and allowed us to see her poor little eyeballs.

After a quick trip to the vet, he determined that her eyes, thankfully, have not ruptured. We have medication to put in her eyes but we will have to wait and see if they improve.

In the meantime, Firefly is eating well and has put on weight. She is an active bouncy kitten that we have all fallen in love with.
